Ways to Pay

Online

  1. Enter your information in the form above to view your tax bill.
  2. Pay your taxes online using e-check, debit, or credit card. Please note: fees apply when paying online using a debit or credit card.

Mail

  1. Make a check or money order payable to “Cuyahoga County Treasurer.”
  2. Detach the bottom portion of your bill and mail it with your payment to:
    1. U.S. Postal: Cuyahoga County Treasurer, P.O. Box 94547, Cleveland, OH 44101-4547
    2. Overnight: Cuyahoga County Treasurer, 2079 E. 9th Street, Cleveland, OH 44115
  3. Envelopes must be postmarked by the collection date to avoid penalties.

  • Call 1-800-272-9829 to pay by credit/debit card. Please note: some fees apply when paying over the phone using a debit or credit card.

Property Drop BoxDrop Slot and Drop Boxes

  1. A convenient drop slot is available on the exterior of the Cuyahoga County Administrative Headquarters at 2079 E. 9th Street, Cleveland, OH 44115. 
    Check and money order payments ONLY, NO CASH, can be made 24/7 at this location. Payments are retrieved daily. All payments will be processed within 48 hours of receipt, except for Friday which is processed during the next business week.

Cashier Department

  1. Visit the Cashier Department, located on the first floor of the Cuyahoga County Administrative Headquarters at 2079 E. 9th Street, Cleveland, OH 44115. 
    Operating hours are Monday through Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. 
    On the final collection date, July 15th, hours are extended to 8 a.m. to 6 p.m.
  2. Bring cash, check, money order, credit card or debit card payment. Additional fees are 
    • Credit card (2.45% with a $3.95 minimum) and debit card ($3.95 flat fee, in-person).
  3. Please note: visitors will be screened prior to entry. You are required to wear a face mask and you will be asked to maintain social distancing while in the building.

Taxpayers who are unable to pay their current taxes, please contact the County Treasurer at 216-443-7420 from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday, or email Treascomment@cuyahogacounty.us after July 15, 2021, to discuss payment plan options. A 10% penalty will be assessed for ANY PORTION of the current taxes that are unpaid.

If your taxes are paid current, the Treasurer’s Office offers an Easy Pay Program to help you budget and prepay your taxes over our semi-annual tax collection period. The Easy Pay program allows advance payments on a monthly, semi-annual, or annual basis.
