Welcome to the Cuyahoga County Treasury Website

The Cuyahoga County Treasury will be closed effective March 18, 2020 until further notice.
The following is effective March 19, 2020 as announced by County Executive Armond Budish.

During this period, the Treasurer’s Office is suspending further foreclosure action on occupied structures (owner-occupied/rentals). Foreclosure actions on unoccupied/ unimproved properties will continue per normal operations. In process foreclosures will continue but all Sheriff sales will be suspended during this period.

Delinquent Contracts
The Treasurer’s Office will not default any existing delinquent payment contracts for at least the next 60 days. Taxpayers will remain responsible for the total balance due, and each contract will be reviewed after this period. All Automatic Clearing House (ACH) payments and coupon payments for delinquent contracts will be suspended through March 31. However, all Advance Tax Payments (Easy Pay) will continue as normal.

Please be advised that during this closure period, processing of payments received via U.S. Postal Mail will be delayed.

The Cuyahoga County Treasury will provide payoff information and accept payment in full on a sold tax certificate. Please make checks payable to: Cuyahoga County Treasurer and mail to: 2079 East Ninth Street, Cleveland OH 44115. Payments must be made with guaranteed funds (cash, money order or certified check). Please contact FIG to inquire about payment arrangements on a parcel that was sold.
